CHAPTER 1  •  Classic Shapes

Decorative elements, colors and shapes from ancient buildings of Rome and Athens are the inspiration behind the design of Chapter 1, Classic Shapes. Subtle colors with slight shade variation mimic the look of tiles made by artisans of Greece and Italy and are beautiful in any setting from classic to more contemporary.

Made in California, by skilled Jeffrey Court artisans, the field tiles reflect an interesting random texture that adds dimension. Decorative elements, liners and architectural mouldings feature rustic details that perfectly complement the field tiles to emulate the facades on old churches, palaces and stately homes in Europe.

Classic Shapes is ideal for interior walls and counters including showers, kitchen and bathroom wall and backsplashes. Field tiles are not suitable for floors, but stone floor tiles from Chapter 11, Antiquity work beautifully to complement the collection. Use of the two crackle finish tiles is not recommended for food preparation surfaces, but they can be used on powder room counters.
