Why did you name Chapter 7 Confetti?
We named this chapter Confetti because this is a fun line with both soft tone field tiles that meet the demand for livable hues, and with vibrant accent pieces to add pizzazz - like Confetti - colorful!
What are the key features of Chapter 7 Confetti?
- Chapter 7 Confetti is available in both 4"x 4" and 4"x 8" modular field tiles. The 5 field tile colors available are relatively soft-toned which can be spiced up with the decorative liners and deco tiles making Confetti a fun line for the design community to work with, especially for bathroom applications.
- We picked eight accent colors on top of the 5 field tile colors so that additional design dimensions are possible with Chapter 7 Confetti. These colors allow for looks from retro to modern to simple elegance.
- We also created a unique accent color called "flamed". This décor color is achieved during manufacturing to create a random flashed finish which creates many unique design opportunities.
- We have gone to one of Italy's premiere boutique glassmakers to add some of the glass elements to Confetti. The uniqueness of each piece along with the color variations make the Confetti glass highly unusual and beautiful.
Where can this collection be used?
Confetti is for interior wall use and light duty counter use such as a bathroom counter. The two field tile sizes offer the ability to create patterns that are possible and not limited to brick, dot-dash, diamond, and herringbone.
We do not recommend Chapter 7 Confetti tiles on kitchen counters because of potential scratching of the high reflection of the tiles. This is particularly notable in a high-traffic "working" kitchen where heavy pots and pans can be slid repeatedly over the tile face.
Are there any special design or installation tips for Chapter 7 Confetti?
Confetti is produced with surface bullnose, bead and cornice trim to allow for versatile installations.
The soft neutral colors of Confetti, when used with accent pieces, mouldings, or Confetti glass, can create many fun design opportunities.
When installing the glass elements, we recommend using high quality polymer bonding materials.
