What are the key features of Ledger Stone?
100% natural stone elements stacked and epoxy edge bonded together in ledger fashion without grout. The difference with our ledgestone is that it comes in 6”x24” engineered panels rather than individual loose pieces, and it is very well constructed with excellent panel sizing uniformity. The Panels are available in 7 distinct colors of slate, sandstone, and quartzite allowing distinct designs. The stones are random in size, thickness and in placement. This allows for a seamless installation. A designed corner is constructed to allow for 90 degree edges without the need to miter on the jobsite.
Where can this collection be used?
Ledger Stone can be used on interior and exterior walls, both residential and commercial. It is a natural product made with real stone thus preserving the esthetic characteristics especially in color and texture variation associated with natural stone. Ledger Stone can be used on water features, fireplace walls, BBQ’s, landscaping walls, commercial feature walls, and other interior-exterior facades where striking dimensional
variation is sought.
How can I merchandise Ledger Stone?
Ledger Stone can be displayed with full size pieces on a showroom wall. Vignette areas using the stone veneer will provide the best presentation. The 8 page catalog used in conjunction with the Essence cards is the best sales/selection tool for showroom use. Product for showroom installations and loose piece samples can also be ordered at a discounted price.
Are there any special design or installation tips for Ledger Stone?
Jeffrey Court’s Ledger Stone Panels are 6”x 24” allowing them to install in a fraction of the time in comparison to single piece natural stone products used to produce the same look. The panels can be easily cut using a standard wet saw and the available corner pieces can easily wrap outside 90-degree corners. By using the panels “as is” or by cutting the panels down length wise, they can even wrap pillars, creating a dramatic look.
Ledger Stone is a natural stone product; please follow masonry industry installation standards. Typical installation is done using quality elastic style mortar over a sufficiently strong substrate, typically masonry construction. Jeffrey Court highly recommends contacting either Custom Building Products about their
“Thin Stone Veneer System” at 800-282-8786 or Laticrete about their “Masonry & Stone Veneer Installation System” at 800-243-4788 x 235. Both of these companies have done extensive testing on stone panels and veneers and are best suited to recommend the appropriate substrate and system for any specified environment.
